Nooreba, a brand with it’s genesis in 2019 brought to life by the collaborative effort of its founders, Babli Bedi and Gurnoor Bedi Randhawa, a dynamic mother-daughter duo. The brand’s name, a fusion of their names, reflects their close familial bond and joint vision. The inception of Nooreba occurred during a serene afternoon amidst the harmonious melodies of music and trying a new dish in the kitchen.
Initially serving as an extension of Babli Bedi’s longstanding clothing enterprise, established in 1998 under the moniker Label Babli Bedi, Nooreba has evolved into a distinctive entity. Babli Bedi, a singular force as a single mother, has been instrumental in shaping the brand’s identity. Her pioneering spirit is evident in the intricate hand block prints she introduces, meticulously conceptualized and executed with her own artistic flair. Gurnoor, inspired by her mother’s legacy, embarked on a creative venture by repurposing vintage sarees and surplus fabrics from the workshop into exquisite cushions and table linen. The overwhelming response received, particularly during the festive season of Diwali, propelled Nooreba forward, setting the stage for its continued success. Nooreba, in conjunction with Label Babli Bedi, embodies values of consciousness and sustainability. Their commitment to utilizing pure fabrics, inclusive sizing, and empowering grassroots artisans underscores their ethos of responsible craftsmanship.
